Community consultation
In August and September 2023, we asked our community to have their say on the draft Vision and Design Brief for the refurbishment of the Michael Tuck Stand and Glenferrie Oval.
Thank you to the 475 people who had their say by completing a survey and/or attending a drop-in session. We received positive feedback, with 60% of the consultation survey respondents supporting the vision.

Outcomes
A report was presented to Councillors at the Services Delegated Committee (SDC) meeting on Monday 11 December 2023.
This report included:
- the final Vision and Design Brief incorporating community feedback
- a summary of the community consultation results
- an exploration of participation data, key trends and ground allocations provided by AFL Victoria, Cricket Victoria and Football Victoria
- recommendations for Councillors to consider.

At the meeting, Councillors:
- endorsed the Vision and Design Brief
- confirmed the type of sports to be played at Glenferrie Oval - Australian Rules Football will be played in winter and cricket will be played in summer in line with the Glenferrie Oval, Grace Park and L.E. Bray Reserve Concept Master Plan (2009).
