In June 2021, we improved the fencing at Lynden Park along Ruyton Street and Highfield Road with post and chain mesh infill panels to prevent off-lead dogs running onto nearby paths and roads. We put this new safety measure in place to make the reserve safer for all park users and motorists nearby.

Since completing these works, we’ve received feedback from members of our community to further improve the fencing at Lynden Park. We want to know if you support the installation of more chain mesh infill panels to the:

• existing post and rail fencing along Highfield Road and Lynden Street, with gaps for pedestrian access (to the location shown on the plan marked in red)
• existing post and rail fencing at the Stornoway Road bend, with a gap for pedestrian access (to the location shown on the plan marked in red).
