We have renewed the Boroondara Community Plan 2021-31 to ensure it reflects the current needs and aspirations of our community.

Over 5000 community members told us what was most important to them during 2 stages of consultation to renew the Plan in late-2020 and early-2021.

During the public exhibition period, community members provided written submissions which will be considered before Council endorses the plan in late-October 2021.

The Boroondara Community Plan incorporates the 10-year Community Vision, the Council Plan 2021-25 and the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2021-25.

This key strategic document outlines a clear vision for Boroondara over the next 10 years based on what our community values most, and demonstrates how Council will bring this vision to life for the benefit of all community members.

The valuable feedback we received through community consultation confirmed that we are on the right track in delivering what’s most important to our community.

It confirmed the 7 priority themes which emerged in 2017, when we heard from 11,845 people, are still relevant to the people here in Boroondara today.
